Nope, he is just a nice guy that has spent to much time in front of the computer screen. I think he need to get the number of his items on the honey do list down to a single page.

I remember way back when ScottTheKing, Bockie, zac4mac, DocWest and I got really interested in RC5. We flooded what was then the SETI@home Team Forum. One of the best threads is The RC5 Team MacNN Status Log. I was only a junior member when we did all that. Now look how many post I or especially Scott have. And look at how many projects we participate in. It's mind boggling how many more MHZ the team now has in all arenas.

Ditto. Keep in mind that I have been with the team only a short while, and look what it has done to me. 4 computers, an empty wallet, kicking off one new project recruiting for another and more posts than I can every remember making.

Yep. Looks like the DC bug has bitten you too. It seems to have loosened it's grasp on some of the other guys I mention though.

I been in to DC projects since seti started then moved on to the RC project then to the folding and other medical research projects.
But I didn't know that half the fun was joining a team and having competitions with other team members. And reading the banter and help flow back and forth.

Yeah, well I'm still here, SBS, crunching away same rate as before. I just dont have much power. I used to have a big percentage of the teams rate back then. Now I'm just a drop in the vast ocean that is MacNN Crunching Power.

Hey DocWest. Long time no see. You still producing the same old RC5 blocks I see. Since I came to college everything has changed for me. I've got more computers in my farm even though they do really belong to other people. I've got always on internet access. TeamMacNN has expanded in to 3 more projects. It's crazy. The only thing keeping me same for now is that most of my farm is producing folds for dFold, and I'll me competing with the others. Otherwise I'd be so confused as to what's what. Maybe you should diversify since then your non-G4 CPU's could do pretty good.

I remember all those RC5 invaders flooding our peaceful SETI forum. I also remember fighting back, trying to stem the tide.
Didn't work, people will crunch what they want to crunch. Besides, the G4 has major bragging rights in RC5.
Our forum didn't see so much action in those days. Things are more interesting today.

Well I'm limited to RC5 and SETI cuz I only have OS9 machines. And only dialup access. I'd do dFold if I could. I'm starting to get bored of RC5 now. I actually crunched a SETI unit yesterday just for a change.
At least I'm dedicated to Team MacNN. 2 years of non stop crunching. wooo.
It's awesome that we are doing well in all these projects. man...Team MacNN for life, foo!

Wow! I didn't think that Scotttheking would be able to stay away after showing up the two following days after he told us to run him off.
If your sneeking back in to take a look at what is going on anyway.
Good job, Scotttheking, for not letting us draw you back in.

He is probably checking in every now and then, just to make certain we don't trash the place.
