Has anyone else noticed that the new pipe to the Berkeley S@H boxen appears to be up (at least intermittently) this afternoon? Fast downloads and the server status page is occassionally reporting that the server is up.

I came back from my vacation and the team proxy was full, so I guess the pipe is fast enough

Still no announcement on the S@H pages but my computers have not had any problem connecting to the Berkeley servers since Sunday morning. This is quite a change after days and days of dropped connections.

The "server status" page is pretty routinely reporting that the server is online today and yesterday. Looks like we're back to crunching as usual.

Newsflash: We just linked our data server up to the new 100 Megabit/sec Cogent link (as of about 23:30pm GMT). We will be monitoring its progress throughout the evening. We'll let you know how it goes!
