I'm pretty new to dfold and I've run 15,000 structures or so. As I've uploaded the results I've seen my overall rank crawl up, but it still displays 1600 total structures contributed.

Does anyone know how often they update total structures and best RMSD? It's been three or four days without changing.

thanks

It was updating once a day some time in the morning but as you are aware it hasn't been refreshed in a while.

I've been using this, statsman.org, to get current data.

I think the stats on the team page at distributed folding update continuously, even if your individual page doesn't. You can see your number of structures and best RMSD there, as well as your rank within the team.

The page is here and it is also linked from our own team.macnn.com/dfold page.

Forum page has this infomation which may be some of what your seeing.

The automatic stats on the server were accidentally turned off when a box died three days ago. I have just finished overwriting all the data files with my local copies, and the stats are running again.

Stats will look normal today, and low tomorrow on all projects except RC5.

Statman.org numbers seem to lag behind.
The Distributed Folding High Flyers page seem to keep up to date. http://www.distributedfolding.org/login.html

This was supposed to have been fixed. I'll look into it.

Fixed for real this time. Thanks for bringing this up, they were 4 days out of date. Some files had the wrong owners, and would not overwrite.

If anyone notices tables getting more than about 36 hours out of date, please let me know. RC5 sometimes skips stats runs, and our stats will delay up to about 36 hours there. For everything else, 26 hours old means something is wrong.

The current All Members tables should be no more than 30 minutes old (except RC5, which updates once per day). Usually, the All Members update every 15 minutes, but if a page pull fails, they could go to 30 minutes for the next run. If they go beyond that, something is wrong with the project pages or our server.

I should be able to fend them off until the comp. is over. But then I re-distributed my CPU's back to other projects. In two weeks, you're gonna be defenseless, sorry.

It's worse then that. RC-5 (66 hours) , F@H (44 hours) , dFold (43 hours) are all stuck. Only SETI seems to be up-to-date.

Oh, and Ubero too.

The cron got turned off again 42 hours ago.

The missing data files have already been overwritten, and the current member listings are caught up (except for RC5).

Within the next 6 hours, the normal stats runs will cause all tables to catch up.

Exception: Folding@home. The project stats are having problems, all teams have blank member lists. I've emailed them about it, and people are complaining about stats in the yahoo discussion group. Until that is fixed, we have no data to work from.

Ahhh, too much credit.
Someone else complained over 3 hours ago, that the SETI data was old. Checking revealed that ALL data was too old. So I'd been working on it instead of our missing pages for the past couple hours.

Wish I was that fast, though.

Scott,
Something tells me that lurking around the forums is only about 25% of the way to withdrawl. Reading takes up most of my time in the forums, not posting. I thought you were going cold turkey for about a month. We'll get along fine without you, as you can see. Shaktai, SlipJack, JBCool, and I have filled in for you while you're away.

Cold turkey??? I think that is what he might eat while he is reading all the forums. Some people just have no will power. Mayber his month hasn't started yet and he is doing in steps. But we wish Scottthekingwould GO AWAY before he get the computer taken away.
Remember buddy this is for your own good.

Cold turkey means to give up something completely and suddenly. Its used commonly when discussing quitting smoking.

Wasn't Scott going to give up the forums, IRC, and AIM for a whole month? Seems like he didn't. It also seems that still reading the forums isn't really quitting.

I think he is on the "patch" with a gradual step-down.

Anyone notice the stats page for the dfold rank has been stuck for 47 hours and climbing. SETI, F&H is stuck at around 47 hours also.

No doubt reader or scott did something, and forgot to leave things the way they found them. I've no doubt that they've seen the problem and it should be up and running soon. I hope.

Those three Ranks run in the evenings. The fact that all three are over 24 hours old means I forgot to upload them last night.

They did run last night, and I did some file maintenance on the server. Looks like the Ranks update got lost somewhere in there, though the Ranks graphs did go up.

Anyway, tonight's update is up now for all three.
