Just a list of some stuff, in case you were wondering why your clients couldn't connect.
I took the setiQ down so I could move it to a spot with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (if anyone wants to get me a KVM...

) so that I could make sure DF updated (it did), install some software so I could change some settings on my wireless base station (stupid PC only BS), and while it was shut down I took out 512MB of ram, reducing it to 512MB, in expectation of my new system that is coming. This was a total of 3 2 minute outages (1 to move it to monitor, 1 to reboot for the software, and 1 to move it back). From this I learned that ATA33 HDs really suck for bootup times, and added a new hard drive to my list of things to buy.
I also had an outage of about 10 mins when I accidentally plugged something into a phone jack without filtering it, which promptly took down my internet connection (and it didn't even work, either).
Then, much later at night, I had a power outage of about 1 second. Annoyingly, every Athlon went down, but no mac did. This reminded me of why I REALLY need to get some battery backup systems in here. Anyone know where I can get some cheap(er) APC backup systems? I need about 5, probably 650VA ones

. (Actually, it would probably be better to just get 1 1400VA for the 2 servers, switch, and router, and 1 2200-5000VA range for the new case

)
There will be another outage later this week, as the mom isn't happy with the noise the systems are making. I've got 30 80mm fans coming that are good and quiet (by reputation, not personal use), and I will be installing them in every system I have, which will probably mean about a 5 to 10 minute outage for my main server, and 20 minutes for the seti proxy (since the main has to be up for the seti proxy to work)
Then I'll see how the noise is, and if it's still too loud (probably will be

) I'll have to order new quiet CPU coolers for the systems, which will be a much longer outage, since I suck at getting HSFs off and will probably have to drag the servers to a friend's house for help

(although there is a first time for everything)
Hopefully those will be all the outages for the near future.
