The time has come for me to lose my cable modem connection...So it's off to RC5 full-time for me. Oh well. C'est ma vie. Have a great evening everyone!

In two weeks I'll be saying the exact same thing. Only I get my broadband back in the fall.

I understand your pain. The apartments I used to live at had T1 to my apartment for broadband. I since purchased a house, so now I'm on dialup. Probably will be for a while.

My only saving grace is that I use Airport. I didn't want to pay to cable my home, so I went wireless. So, while my base station is connected to the phone jack, any software running on my machine thinks I'm on an ethernet network (technically I am) and I avoid all the problems running clients that are not dial-up friendly.

Enjoy the 90's. It's back to the future for both of us.
