Well I've finally decided to donate some computer power to this dfold project....here is what i got
2 Dual 1Ghz PowerMac G4's (I have a 3rd but it's running OS 9)
1 600mhz iBook G3
1 700mhz iMac G4
Crunching away.....Right now only the ibook and one powermac are running under my account on Team MacNN, I will get the others switched over soon.I should easily bring in another 40K protein units per day...varying if I run 2 processors or just one....anyhow..do we win anything or what?
Welcome, glad you are joining. Nope, no prizes. But if you happen to be lucky enough to crunch a protein with a really low pseudo-energy it might get chosen for submission to the CASP5 competition going on right now.
