I run two instances of dfold on a dp800, but am having a few problems...
Over the last few days, since the last update, I have had numerous random crashes that have wiped all the units in the buffer...I've lost about 35,000 overall, about a days total for me...
Its never happened before, just since Tuesday...wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar? if not I guess I'll just put it down as a whole coincidence thing...

I haven't had any crashes, and I'm running nearly 24 hours/day on my TiBook ('cept when I play quake ) and constantly on my Linux box. Are you quiting them every so often? I heard that there was a memory leak bug.

I quit them every couple of hours because of the leak, the crashes seem to happen just before it should upload...seems strange.

Sorry Marc, not much help here. On a dual processor Mac as well with no problems. The both clients gets restarted every 24 hours using SkiBikeSki's script so I basically leave it alone.
Maybe start with a fresh install from the project site and see if that helps.

I would have recommended the same things as enola but she beat me to it. Do use my script, cause it's any easy way to restart them, it could even do it every couple of hours if you want. Just search this forum for 'script' in the subject, and my topic just come up. Just scroll to the bottom for a download link, and some instructions.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for the script...since using it all seems to be working fine!
