I noticed that the crunch rate on f@h has been climbing over the last week or so. This seems to be too far back for the new clients to have an effect, and the number of members does not seem to have increased.
Also noticed that my own rate has crept up - still the same power applied.
Can anyone explain to a thicky like me whats going on?

Also, the macs are a little more effecient now that they are getting the larger proteins, which might explain your numbers.
Uh! jb, it looks like you been slacking. You slow down much more, and I am liable to catch up to you, even if I am on a different team.
On a side note: The new Mac Client beta should be released this week. There are now 7 Mac teams in the top 100 and 4 of them including MacNN are in the top 35.

I would go accusing JB of slacking. He's still bringing in a huge chunk of the team units.

I be slakin'. I've been out of town the last couple of weeks only to come back and find most of the computers shutdown from a power outage.
I get back to work now. Start flexing a little muscle now.

What team did you start? You got a link you can give me? E-mail is fine I think I sent you the new one, might have to start a satellite bounce before to long.

That's the link for the Folding Team. I only have one box on that any more. My other four boxes (I added another AMD 1900) are on other projects. Team homepage is here. Guess I won't be passing jb anytime soon, unless I win the lottery.
Pulled the new team out of dFold (I was the only one crunching) and gave those units back to MacNN. Only one other member right now, and his computer's hard drive is acting up, so he isn't crunching.

Reader50 info: Been searching for someone doing netboot the way we want to saw one stack done the way we want to but finding the person doing was a dead end. I will keep looking.
Shaktai info: You might get to catch up with me before long. It looks like the long vacation is about over. I may be off line for a month or more. Will probably have to get a satellite feed once I find a place to
live. Will have to break the farm up. Why does work always get in the way of having fun, busy working up a plan for a multi-national company now. And the beat goes on.
