Just curious what you think the increase in SETI crunching performance might be if I add another 512 MB chip to my machine.

currently iMac DV G3 400 320 MB ram

If i replace the 64 MB chip in the first slot the total would be:
256+512=768 MB

Now if you overclocked your ram, that'd be another story
