Tho' I have read about it before on PeeCees, I never heard about it happening on a mac.

I had four completed WUs in the units out folder and decided to let SUM upload them. At the beginning of this process I had 157 completed units when it was done I only had 159.

I checked the files in the out folder and 'SETI@home Data 1' and 'SETI@home Data 3' were still in there. So, I tried to upload again and nothing happened. I looked in the folders and the 'work_unit.sah' files were not in there.
Is this something that happens with any frequency? Is it SUM related?

I shouldn't have been due for my 2% tariff yet.

I am not sure about the rest, but it is normal on my system for the work_unit.sah file to go away. It is deleted when the work unit finishes. You get a new work_unit.sah file when you download the next work unit.

Note: I am still using the 2.00 client. Later versions could have changed this.

I tried to upload again today and found that I couldn't do it again. I watched SUM this time and saw that all it was doing was backing up the data over and over again.
I trashed all of SUM except my units in and out folders and reinstalled it. It seems okay now.
Its ashame that I trashed those other two WUs
Oh well, live and learn
