I am wondering if anyone has tried the CLI on Darwin. I mean, does the rhapsody client (most recent, 2.4 version) work in Darwin at all?

I'm going to try it out when my new computer comes, but I just wanted to check here first.

er, AHEM... someone who has a history of poking fun (good-naturedly or not) at our team, such as yourself, has no right to an answer... find your own answer... get it from YOUR OWN damn team...

and have a fine day

I don't see any problem asking the people who might know the answer.

I'll be letting you know what results I get.

It's very simple...just join, by typing in your password, and clicking a few buttons, and someone will give you an answer.

right on, iPad... but know that this trickster did join us once upon a time and dissed hell outta us when we were very small and inconsequential... he joined us and made us few get a bit of a rush because of his prodigious amount of WUs and then he promptly split, the jerk!

grrrrrrrrrr, note the timeframe of his posts:

Allright I have jumped ship. Since O'Grady's changed I have been looking for a place to go. Arstechnica tempted me for a while but macnn is the place for me.

I'm Peter Ahlstrom by the way.

Well well, with my iMac DV, my 15 G3 266s, and my 15 PIII-450s, which have given me 3000+ units, who has me beat? =)

I am considering taking over 2 more computer labs...I'm actually losing ground! I went from 1960th place overall to 1983rd.

There's just not enough enthusiasm here. Sorry if it seemed like a one-night stand.

I'm out of here.

Ah..so i see, well, if it helps any, i will be acquring a:

Beige G3/466 (upgraded ZIF)
PowerMac 7100 (going to be upgraded to 360Mhz G4)
Dual PowerMac G4/500

I'll be zipping along within a month, with probably around a 10+ WU per day average.

(Note, my dad's computers are the ones listed, currently, he isn't letting me run on his beige G3 and his Powermac 7100, but i made a deal with him that if i helped him upgrade his computers and help him save some money by doing so, he'd let me run the programs on...unless it does something to his computer like crash every time...etc...but that won't happen )

Hey, I already apologized many times over. My reasons for running SETI are just different from many other team members. Maybe they are selfish, but hey. At least I am being honest about it.

I wish Team MacNN had gotten started long before it did. I think I might have been happy enough to stay were that the case.

I'm sorry I have had a "ha ha, in-your-face" attitude. I'm really not like that in person.

But I'm not coming back. I've already made that decision. Now I just have to see if I can pass up the creators of South Park again, since they leapt over me today.
