I'm in 103rd place, heh, with only 86 units, i'm right now done with 90 percent of one, it'll probably upload in another hour.

I found out that tak amalak quit Team MacNN to join Team MacAddict so they could beat Team ArsTechnica, that's actually not that bad of an idea, we do want the mac to be better, would a merger of teams be out of the question?

yeah, why i don't just dump Macs and get a PC i'll never know...

but honestly i find it shocking that anyone would think of merging Team MacNN with anyone else's team... i really do...

man, what a world... i just do not belong in it anymore... old before my time... damn... very discouraging...

anyone can leave of their own volition, at any time... i will stay right here even if i am the only one to do so...

iPad, what wlonh is trying to say is that the reason why we are sticking as Team MacNN is that we were created as Team MacNN and it is not in our mission statement to sell out. I will quote it for you in case you've forgotten "the single most amazing collection of Mac users ever assembled for anything. Ever!" we are here to prove what we as Team MacNN, a dedicated group of crazy Mac users, can do, not to engage in big corporate mergers to try to smother out the competition (we are not trying to make the Mac community wintel-like). We want to be the smallest and best, not biggest and so bulky that nothing can push us around.

Finally, and most importantly, isn't our Team MacNN community *much* nicer than Team MacAddict? that is what this is really about for me. being one name on a list of 10,000 on a team is no fun. sure, your team rises in standings, but truely you're just awash in annonimity. I would not be on this SETI team if it were not for the positive community/ friendly/ group thing. I think wlonh also has commented on this elsewhere, that he does this because he likes the group we are. so let's keep crunching for the Mac and for non-annonimity! here's to being a happy family!
