What do I have to look at to see how I am evolving?

Um, as far as I can tell, the stats page on our site hasn't updated in quite a while.

Go to SETI's main page for info.

If you look at the grahp its an XYZ plain that has the frequincies and the time and the power, now do you remeber that movie Contact, We are annalizong data from such a radio telacope aray from I duno were new mexico I am guessing, Now IN contact remember when the saw the that a specific radio frequency emited a certain power leval at certan times, now each of us on the team is analizing only a ver small amount of time about 100 and seven seconds and we are looking at it from all aspects, then we move on to other areas of the time fram and frequencies. After we have compleated a unit we send back the data of the numbe crunching that we did to see if we saw any patterns in our time frame. Back at berkly they analize all the data that has comback to them to see if there is any long term patterns in that specific frequincy and then they look at all the other frequincies, remember that we are only looking at 9.7 Mhz of a 1.3 Ghz base so there is a lot of other people just looking at a different frequency but the same time frame. Now if they see a reacurring pattern they will observe it untill it is comfermed an ET or just a rare fluke of radio waves mixing around in space. The system has been slowed down so that we can allilize the Data more, but I think they were running out of radio readings that they have got because it would only take time for us to catch up to them and we would be waiting for them to read from the telascope. Right now I am reading from November 4 2000 thats not even six mothes ago. If you have any more Questions about the Seti other than How to get it to run under osx w/o crashing I am sill wondering my self. I will be happy t answer.

Is it normal that I am analyzing the same unit for 22 hours now. But I still have only half of it done. (57%)?

I'm guessing you are running under pre X OS.
What is your OS, and what is your computer (Ram, processor, model, etc)?

My PM6100-66 takes about 120 hrs per unit.

How many computers do you have?
I have a script for Dnet and can tell you how to set up the one for SETI.
Unless you know cron, of course.

Run the command line ones in OSX.
