I wouldn't worry about it.
They're just trying to stir us up. Its a lame attempt at that...
1. Why would they put that in a public place they KNOW we surf?
2. Why would they so blatently say it?
3. Why would TNproud2B (by the way, TN, if you're here, does that stand for Tenessee or something? Sorry if I misspelt that) post something like that?
4. I'm sure they would have a hell of a lot more than a measly 4000 units as they claim they would otherwise.
5. It sounds like infighting. Casual, calm infighting. No such thing in the manner it was carried out there. Arguments were posed that would not reflect what the OCN members believed, and were not countered.
6. Singleing out MacNN as a team they claimed not to have beaten legitimately.
7. Again, I say, why even post that?
Its a very lame attempt.
It was thought up outside the forum, and then executed.
Danometer... seven posts there? You also seemed quite at home with them...
Better luck next time guys.

Questioning my loyalties? Who died and appointed you as Joe McCarthy?
TNproud2b is a screwball in the side pocket. His post on the OCN forum is *SATIRE*. I don't know how long you've been on the internet, but back in the early 90s in the days when 14.4 was a good speed and newsgroups ruled because there was no http:// anything, there was a term called "flamebait", which was defined usually as "a posting done deliberately to draw an angry response in a twisted attempt to humiliate the responders". This was such a post, and you would have fell victim to it. As for TN's actual intentions, well, you'll have to ask him when he sobers up sometime Sunday evening.
If I were doing something over there unethical, I would have selected a different username for OCN forums and no one here would have known who it was. I didn't select a different username but 1) I am doing nothing to hide, and 2) I do not care about your opinion of me.

Hey guys, TN was just joking around. No harm intended. He is always joking around. Go easy on the dude.
And yes, TN does stand for Tennessee. That's why we often refer to him affectionately as "hillbillie".
Oh yeah, 46 post ... so when is the OCN gullitine coming for me?

Lets get one thing straight - don't you ever accuse me of anything mate, got it?
I am not questioning your loyalties. If I was I would have said it straight out.
It was an innocent question.
But now that you mention it, I really don't know... I mean, lets see... you do seem rather 'friendly' over there, and also decided to post the topic here. No, I'm not questioning your loyalties now either, cause I don't care.
I couldn't give a flying fu*k whether you're on their side. It really doesn't bother me, so why would I incinuate something like that?
Another thing, don't you EVER assume to know my course of action in any parcitular event. Flamebait, NO SH!T.
That post was for the good of those who may not have SEEN THAT.
As for using a different alias, well, most people would have. But do I know you? No. So it would be dumb of me to assume that you would have.
I have seen people that have done the same thing...
As for my opinion of you - I don't have one. I don't care about you whatsoever, so have no need for one. Why do you find it necessary to state that you don't care about my opinion of you? If you didn't care, you wouldn't have said it.

You have my pity. I have to feel sorry for someone whose life is so drab and colorless as to not understand the concepts of humor and satire.

Easy now Cipher....
this is the most excitement I've seen here since Lon left.
Y'all have done very well as a team and I submit my congratulations.
BTW, it looks to me as if this place would be "dead as a doornail" if it weren't for Dano's regular input....
Now kids, play nice...

Save your pity for someone that needs it. I am willing to bet my life is a hell of a lot more exciting than yours.
Obviously you either didn't read my post, or just don't UNDERSTAND it.
Of course I picked up the humour of it. Re read my post. See if you understand. If not, read again. And so on till you have a CLUE what you're talking about.

I respectfully request this thread be closed and deleted. Had I known that it would lead to the above drivel, I would never had started it.

Hey guys, you are both on the same team. I think it's just a little misunderstanding, that's all. Often it's easy to step on each other's toes on forums due to a tiny little misunderstanding that gets blown way out of proportion. Sometimes the meaning that we intended gets lost somewhere between the way it sounded in our heads and the text we type up on the screen, eh?

Moderator, I respectfully request this thread be closed and deleted. Had I known that it would lead to the above drivel, I would never had started it.
You can never say what you really think in mere words...
You cannot use that as an excuse for poor communication and broad accusations. If you wish to hint that someone may be conspiring with an "enemy", you should first pick something that is important enough to be worthy of "cloak-and-dagger" operations. SETI is insignificant in that respect, using any standard by which you would wish to measure it.
As for my quality of life, I'd pick my wife and daughter over your "exciting life" in a millisecond.
You still have my pity.
