Could we have an update to team.macnn.com please?
We've gained more than 15 places in the standings since the last one, over a month ago. We need pride! We need recognition! We need anouncements on macnn.com that we are in the Top 50 club teams, top 70 Overall, so that people know about us, so we get more members!

please

Yea, it is kinda disturbing to see that the main page has not been updated in more than a month.

Also, the "Get the Client" link is dead. Please put up the 3.0 client link, or better yet, also link to DocWest's 2.04 installer download shown here.

How much longer will people be able to use 2.04 anyway?
It can't be much longer. Anyone know for sure?

Hear hear! I keep checking the http://teams.macnn.com/ page for updates and there aren't any. Makes it hard to maintain the ol' team pride. :-)

I haven't been able to post much lately due to Christmas preparations at both jobs, but now that is finished. I am willing to keep the front page updated if y'all are willing to have me do it. I should be to post every 2-3 days until after the New Year, then I can do daily updates if it is warranted. I know some HTML, at least enough to hum along to the tune, and can fake the rest of it with a WYSIWYG pagemaker (Claris Home Page 2).

Perhaps the current admins are reluctant to let a new one in with the turbulence around wlonh in fresh memory. In that case perhaps Danometer could send some text to one of the admins once a week or so for them to put on the front page. We could really need the encouragement of hearing about our new acheivements.

Yeah, regular updates are good for the team.
No updates for a month kinda makes it look like we're dying, when we are actually kicking butt.

Danometer's been doing a great job around here lately - I'm sure he could handle this.

My fault for slacking on the updates... there's just been too much going on lately.

Dan, if you want to send me the updates, feel free to do so. Since the page relies on PHP it's a little more complicated than just HTML, and a WYSIWYG editor will just muck things up.

I'll try to do a beter job, guys.

i'm all for having dan!
it's definitely better for us all to be more coherent, which means more updates!
i have no doubts that the current moderators/admins are busy,
so go dan go!

by the way, i can't use 2.04 anymore. i had to switch to 3, otherwise i couldn't get any more units.
what does this mean and how can you all still use 2.04?
damn 3 hurts my times.

poocat.

Nice Team page update Danometer. Thanks.

The workunit milestones do look nice on the Team page, but I suggest that they be duplicated in the milestones thread. Once the Team page is updated, the previous contents are lost. It is kind of neat to look up the old milestones. Like seeing Misha complain about having "only" 450 WUs.

Heh, that's sort of cool... I crunched about 2000 units in 6 months. Not bad.

Having seen somebody else talking about passing Firewire just today I was lamenting about Firewire passing me last summer (spring?). I'd be amused to see my old postings to the forum, from before the MacNN SETI forum got it's own 'wing'.
