If we are going to do SETI lets do SETI. If Macnn is going to bag the SETI effort and do RC5 then lets do it. I think we are doing our new members a disservice (or at least confusing them) by promoting RC5 on the SETI forum.

The easy fix would be to have an RC5 section on the Team MacNN page. Misha was working on it, but I doubt it will ever get done.

The team thing needs to be changed to the distributed computing team.
That way it is for all programs that fall under that category.

I for one am doing much SETI crunching, far more then RC5.
I put the program that is best suited for each machine on my comps.
Ex. the super slow ones run RC5, and the faster ones run SETI.
G4s (when I get some) will be mostly RC5, but a little SETI.
That way I get maximum blocks and units.

I agree with Scott. A general Distributed Comp forum. There are lots more than S@H and RC5.
I still do S@H, but the luster's gone.
Berkeley's taken a lot of fun out of it by crippling the Mac client.
I used to get 10 WU/day out of my 2 Macs. Now it only runs on the G3 454 and I get 1 or maybe 2 per day.
The G4 smokes at RC5 so that's what it does.

Can we get our link back on the front page of Macnn? It has disappeared with the redesign.
