I have another problem with OSX versions of SETI. I have also tried the GUI OSX version, of course. About one third of the time it goes to screen saver I recieve a "Carbon Error" and the computer snaps out it. It then tries to go to screensaver again, but another error, and it wakes up. This repeats until I move the mouse. What is causing it. I have done nothing with the cron, and it does it even when no apps but the Finder are open.

I hope Berkeley fixs these bugs.

PS Has anyone else noticed how the screensaver kicks in every X minutes, and not afer X minutes of inactivity. That is really annoying.

Also thanks to the screensaver I have five copies of these processes running.

One copy of each is running undser root, and four under my name. But they are not related to the above problem. Even with only on copy running I get this error.
