Scott, I guess this is directed more towards you...but, is there some problem with the team proxy? I've checked each of the machines that I have RC5 running on and they all seem fine. I guess I can't understand why I'm getting about 4000 less blocks per day for the last 3 days or so. Is there a problem with the proxy? Let me know cause I'm falling behind!
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

It does look like the RC5 proxy is glitching up sometimes, Scott is working on it with the dnetc people.

Scott is the best person to yell at regarding the proxy services.

Yell at me when there is anything wrong on the Team site, including the currently posted Member stats.

BTW - I just put up some more detailed Member stats, with weekly production listings, and new member listings. Check it out.

You're complaining?
Look at my production
I'm working on it.
Dnet said it may be a backlog that will be fixed in a few days, but that it might be something else.
I'll work on it this weekend. I have a midterm tomorrow, so I don't have time until then.

Yeah, apparently all of our blocks got sent over to DocWest 8K? what's up with that? SBS, he is after your behind... Hopefully things will return to normal soon. I hate these tiny 3K block days. Makes me sad I feel for you guys taking midterms. Mine were last week. Got grades yesterday and today. 5 A's and 1 lousy B. Stupid statistics...

Instead of studying, I worked on the problem.
I think I may have fixed it.
I won't know for a little while though.
You have to completely empty your RC5 in buffers on all the comps, then get a new one and crunch it and dump it, and then we have to see the stats run.
If I see an increase in mine (most of my comps have 6 hr buffers, so I'll see it sooner) on the stats that run tomorrow, I'll know I've fixed it.
We'll see. I really hope I fixed it.

Edit: Don't actually wipe the file. Your computer will crunch thru it on its own.

I certainly hope that it's fixed. If we don't see any improvement tonight or Saturday I might go ahead and switch back to the d.net proxy servers. At least, just until we're certain that our proxy is working correctly.

Only 2700 blocks yesterday! Something is messed up bad...

Well, I was updating the proxy on my girlfriend's machine. The blocks emptied to the proxy just fine, but did not fetch any blocks. I got the following message from the proxy:

[Oct 19 21:26:42 UTC] Input buffers are full (or projects are closed).
No fetch required.

Scott, I'm hoping that we can get this straightened out sometime soon. Keep us posted on the status of the problem.

That has nothing to do with the proxy.
You probably have the client set to buffer a certain # of hours of data, and it didn't need anymore. Don't worry about that. Server is giving out blocks just fine.
Just so you know, the proxy currently has 114408 RC5 blocks waiting to be sent out to clients.

Bug me on AIM this weekend, I should be on a little (I'm going home, apple store opens tomorrow close to where my family lives

If you haven't noticed, all proxy users have had higher then normal days.
I'm pretty sure this is just the proxy problems fixing themselves.
I guess they didn't lose the blocks, they were just in limbo
