A random question, but I'm looking to possibly upgrade my 8500 with a NewerTech G4 card. What sort of RC5 production would I be able to get with a G4 350, G4 400, and a G4 450. These are all single processor cards. Hopefully someone out there has some info.
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

check out www.distributed.net/speed to see the speed for virtually any processor out there. The upgrade cards work just as well as a real G4. I speak from experience, my 8500 with Sonnet G4 350MHz ran at 3.1MK/s. Good luck with the upgrade, It will be a significant enhancement.

my g4/450dp usually produces a speed of somewhere around 7,800,000. compare this to a 2ghz pentium 4 which achieves around 2,900,000.
