Hi Everyone,
Thought this would be interesting... how many machines, do you have running SETI, and what models are they?
Here is my list...
1) 1 TiBook 500
2) 1 G4 Cube 450
3) 4 iMac DV's (2 indigo 400's, 1 indigo 450, 1Strawberry 400)
4) 1 B&W G3 400
5) 1 DEC Personal Workstation 333i (edit PII Xenon 333
6) 1 Pismo 500
7) 4 Blueberry iMac 333's

PM8500-150 }full time
Athlon 1000 /
P2-450 - part time
K62-300 - part time

I had an iMac 400 running it, but school gets out today, so bye to the iMac.

1 G4/466 384MB running full time, but I quit it when I use photoshop.

My G4 350 runs SETI 24/7, in the foreground when I'm gone, background when I'm doing anything.

Some of them are mine, others are friends who have allowed me to run it... in labs or offices....

The key is to find people who use a generic screensaver (or just let their screen go blank) and let them know about SETI... after I show them how cool it is , then it is never a problem convincing them to keep it on their computer (remember, it is always just getting the foot in the door )

well...

1. iMac DV SE / 400 MHz / 512 MB RAM
2. iMac / 333 MHz / 160 MB RAM
3. iMac / 333 MHz / 96 MB RAM
4. iMac / 333 MHz / 96 MB RAM
5. Walstreet PB G3 / 250 MHz / 192 MB RAM

I did have like 6 others working for me @ my old high school, but since I graduated, they no longer serve me...

1) Rev B iMac / G4 433 / 256M RAM
2) Dell workstation / Pentium Pro 250 / 64M RAM

Of course my Rev B does 95% of my SETI production.
