We have been doing well for some time now. Passing other teams, running our numbers up. Now it is time to do more. We may need to pile up some kindling. Nice short wood lengths and good strong rope to go with them. Matches too.

I recently ran across an older thread that drew little attention at the time. It seems that there are turncoats hidden in the MacNN staff. People who look normal on the outside, but have hidden loyalties to other teams.

These allegations are very serious. Betrayal from such a trusted position is almost unthinkable, yet my own investigations have shown that the allegations are true.

My investigations have determined that the following Admins & Moderators are clean:

MacCanada
Misha
mkbhatia
Moof

Two Mods have token MacNN accounts with no units:
Bizzare ("Maligniter" on the Team)
oscar

And two Mods have done the unthinkable.

We need to help these poor people turn their lives around and come clean. Or to at least put their work units in the right place. I would rather not name the betrayers, it would be better if friends privately help them overcome their sad mistakes. Besides, I will look much better if someone else accuses them.

There could even be more than two, I was unable to locate accounts for most of the staff.

What should we do to help these people? Kind emails? Matches? Something else? Creative suggestions welcome.

A minor correction: oscar's zero unit account is not assigned to MacNN or any other team. Sine -''-..- also has a zero unit account not assigned to any team. I am not sure how to interpret zero unit accounts.

Should the investigation be expanded to include AppleInsider? If so:
Mod Eskimo has a zero unit account not assigned to any team.
Mod Amorph has a small account not assigned to any team.
Admin Monish has a substantial account with Team MacNN.
As with MacNN, half the AI staff accounts could not be found.

Concerning our two Mods who have gone astray, it is only decent to allow them a little more time to do the right thing. They should have another day before being exposed, that will be two days from the first post, a very reasonable length of time.

A special note, it has been particularly difficult to track down a SETI account for the MacNN Forum Administrator "MacNN Staff". Any info would be appreciated.

MacNN Staff is the secret seinormost Administrator on MacNN, higher even, and the real email address is highly classified AFAIK. And no one has found out about the murder yet anyway.

Plenty of time has passed. Guess it is time for the curtain to go up.

Moderator The Wolfe has snuck onto the Apple Computer corporate team. 304 units. That team is ahead of us too, #17 vs our #59 in the All Teams listing.

Moderator tooki is crunching for the "rec.arts.bodyart" team. 189 units. That team is well behind us at #81 in Club Teams vs our #34, and #186 in All Teams.

Everyone, please be kind and understanding. These Mods are people too and they need our help.
