Well, I woke up to find both Macintoshes in the house being told they can't
accept any more blocks and that I HAVE to upgrade. Looks like 2.04 is now
officially persona non-grata. However, my PC machines seem to be doing
just fine. I didn't have time to boot into OS X to test the 2.04 CLI there
but I will do that a bit later today.

I did notice that 3.0 is still being accepted, but not 2.04. 3.0 is
preferable over 3.04 as 3.04 is going to take forever on my system.

I'm afraid that 2.04's fetching of data is actually blocked. The message you get from it is now changed to: A new version ... is availiable ... You must download it to continue running SETI@home.
2.04 still can post done WU's, though.
At the moment, both 3.0 and 3.04 works fine, with no messages. Remember that 3.0 is almost twice as fast.

heheh, it's about time. now all you buggers with 2.04 will have to move up to 3 like the rest of us poor sobs.

Well my average time was all teh way down to 6 hours 35 minutes when they blocked out 2.04, and now it's going to climb higher and higher. This sucks.
