RC5's current performance: flop performance not given
SETI's current performance: 27.56 teraflops
Blue Gene's projected performance: 200 teraflops
ASCI White's current performance: 12 teraflops
Specs found at http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/53/22756.html and http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/ and http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/totals.html .

Why doesn't distributed.net attempt to give a flop # for its crunchers?

Are the supercomputers specialized (i.e., only give that performance at certain tasks)?

Has SETI been faster before?
Actual conversation between UCLA and Stanford during a login on early Internet - U: I'm going to type an L! Did you get an L? S: I got one-one-four. L! U:Did you get the O? S: One-one-seven. U: <types G> S: The computer just crashed.

I think the reason that they don't provide any FLOP/s is that the client does use the FPU. I think I read somewhere on the FAQ that it actually ran a little slower witht the FPU, than with just standard CPU intructions. And now they even use stuff like MMX, SSE, and Alti-Vec.
