I've got a few things.

One, who is still around?

Two, will some of you please help me test the new proxy?
This is for people who actually monitor their machines, not for the install and forget comps.
I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it seems pretty good, so I'd like to begin adding comps.
If it proves to be good and stable, it will be opened to all members whenever we get the new site done.

If you are willing to use it for testing (it hasn't dropped a single unit of mine) please post here.
It is located at jaffacpas.dyndns.org port 5517
so for the CLI it is -proxy jaffacpas.dyndns.org:5517

It is also a queue, so if you have a reliable net connection, you don't need to queue any units, it will handle it.

To access stats (it has some nice stats stuff) type jaffacpas.dyndns.org:5517/ into your browser.

If you use it and encounter ANY error or quirk, PLEASE post it here. I need to know what client you were running, and exactly what the problem was. No matter how small, I need to know.
I need to make sure the queue is solid.

Thx, Scott.

Edit: Oh yeah, my crunching comps. I'm currently running a 900MHz Tbird 24/7, a G3-400MHz and a PM8500-150MHz part time, and a P2-450MHz part time.
I may add a 1.2GHz Tbird tomorrow though.

I'm still around... as CWasko. I currently have a B&WG3 350 crunching about 50% of the time. This 50% is in OSX the other 50% I'm in OS9 trying to get work done. A Wallstreet laptop, 333 crunching 100% of the time but I use it often. This thing runs OSX 100% of the time. I also have a 7100/80av crucnhing 100% of the time. It alao serves as a rounter, telnet/ssh terminal, and local DNS for my LAN. It is running OS9.1. Then, lastly, I have a Crap-ass Winblows98 P2 at 120MHz running 100% of the time.

I ordered a G3, 400MHz card for my 7100... Hopefully it'll be in soon...
