Greetings,

Though I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this on, I've been directed by a trusted friend to try this forum on this site first.

Anyhow, to the point:

Recently, I've been noticing that my (600mhz iBook) battery will drain even if it is correctly connected through the AC adapter to a wall outlet. The only time I've noticed this happening, however, has been when SETI@Home has been running.

Therefore, I'm wondering: has anyone else noticed this problem? If so, what have you done about it?

Thank you,

Kinescope
I'm new here, please don't kill me.

This is what I think the problem is.
Something is drawing enough power that you barely have enough.
When you run SETI it runs the processor up to full power, and that is enough to use more power then the ac adaptor has, so it goes to battery.
Do you have anything hooked up to your comp that draws power?
Also, you may have a bad ac adaptor or something.
Hope that helps.
