Well guys, for six months now I have been crunching RC5 on my lowly 8500/150. About 4 months ago, I added my girlfriend's Dell and last month, I recruited three more PC's at work. Slowly but surely my numbers have increased. Even with all the new folks who have rushed in, I've managed to stay put right around #13 overall. Well, guess what? I'm not going to play nice anymore!

I just ordered my brand spanking new QuickSilver Dual 800. Should be here no later than next Friday. I'm looking forward to kicking some RC5 butt. Look out guys cause I'm moving on up! Just a friendly warning...
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

I wonder if the G4 is recognized

Don't worry, not enough power to pass what I've got waiting to be set up.

Edit: Can you put the 8500 on SETI?
The SETI team needs every WU it can get.

The new G4's are recognized, you have to download the newest client as Cwasko has stated in an earlier thread.

Don't make me fire up my other 2 G4 boxes with the dual 800!s!!!

Jim, bring it on, you mug. I just bought a Powerforce G3 300/120 which you and all your kin will come to pheer! Granted, when I first plugged it in it was set to 120mhz (doh!) and I can find zero documentation for how to set the two rotary switches. Oh but I'll be speed-racing for a while...until I leave this job in two weeks. Well, what can you say?

Bring 'em ALL on, I say!

With a little conserted effort, we could push into the top 100 teams.

Just don't make me whip out my Performa 630... "Lessee... now where did I put that 14.4 modem?" (rummages through old parts box...)

Do you really have 2 dual 800s that aren't crunching?

Get em crunching!
I'll sacrifice the #1 spot for that.
I doubt I can get more then 8000 blocks per day.
Unless I can get a bunch of old machine to keep working after I replace em with the new ones.

I'm going to be making a cd that I can drop into someone's comp, copy over the dnetc client, and then run when the comp is rebooted.
Lots of comps in this dorm

Ah, highbrow humor at its finest! NAH.... I'm just clinging tenaciously to my #5 spot on the team... the heat would appear to be rising. Can't seem to get my hands on any more machines, so I'll just keep pumping out my usual 2500 or so a day.

So.. If it took my Centris 610, Performa 630 and Quadra 950 out of mothballs, do you suppose I could get another 15 units a day?

Seriously, I'd rather be #10 on a top 100 team, if y'all can get us there. Let 'er rip.

Kirk: I need more Scotty.
Scotty: I'm givin ya all I've got.
Kirk: We must win this race.
Scotty: I know of a few places to get extra power...

My secret weapon.
8.4 GHz of Tbird power. 7 1.2GHz Tbirds are replacing the 7 machines crunching now. The old ones are P2 300s and 450s.
This will be a little more.

Now, if I can just keep the old ones crunching too...

The first two began crunching today (hopefully).

I have 2 more duallies I can fire up, but I need them as servers, so they need to perform and the likleyhood of them tasting RC5 is slim to none.

But don't worry, I have my Phasers locked onto Chris Shields are at max and hull integrity is 100% Capain

17 seconds later.
The stream is destabilizing.

A few minutes later.
They are all dead.

You see all that power that I put in?
That was only 2 of the machines.

Scott looks into the future. He sees himself ranked #1, and Team MacNN again slamming upward in the ranks.
