PowerMac 8100/100.
Currently it's doing about 1.6% per hour (~62.5 hr/WU). I'm getting a 256K cache simm for it tomorrow, and that should crank it up some more, though I don't expect the almost-doubled performance I got out of one put in the 7100/80 post-cache-addition.
I'm beginning to think that S@h's Mac version was written for the 601 PPC. I had a 603e 100 MHz (Performa) that almost could do 1% per hour (same software set-up and more RAM). If the almost-doubled performance happens with the 8100/100, it'll be crunching almost as fast as the Bondi iMac (G3 233MHz).

How much is it costing you in electricity to run these old machines? Is it worth the little bit of status you get from the extra SETi WUs? Personally I would give them to a loca lschool ort take them apart to see how they work.

Actual conversation between UCLA and Stanford during a login on early Internet - U: I'm going to type an L! Did you get an L? S: I got one-one-four. L! U:Did you get the O? S: One-one-seven. U: <types G> S: The computer just crashed.

Gimme an iMac G4 or better, and I'll even donate them in your name.
I have been taking them apart and re-assembling them. I have parts from four different PowerMacs between a 7100/80 and the 8100/100.
Power consumption? Hmmm. The 8100 (and the 7100) is rated for 9 amps. At 110 volts (typical US line voltage), that's 990 W. In an hour, that's 990 Wh of energy comsumed, we'll round to 1 kWh for convenience. In one month, that 30 days x 24 hours, or 720 hours. So the power consumed in one month is 720 kWh, right? Well, no. You see, I ran the 7100 all thru the month of December, and my electric bill for December shows only 687 kWh consumed, and I KNOW that I ran more than just one computer that month.
In other words, I don't know, and I don't think it's enough to bother over. Besides, there are some G3 upgrades for these machine just waiting for me, now that I know what I'm doing. (I think. )

in about a month im adding a dedicated 6100/60 SETI cruncher. LOL
But of course im going to give it its own member name "6100/60"....hopefully it will give some members a little more motivation to crunch some more when they see they are getting out crunched by a 60mhz computer. heh heh heh

I think there's actually an entire team of 6100/60 crunchers somewhere (xlr8yourmac maybe, I dunno). If memory serves, they get about 1 WU/week, but I could be wrong.
I'm trying to get some G3 PDS upgrades for the cows (7100 & 8100), but I've already used up my 'toy budget' for February. Good thing it's a short month.
