Thanks to someone at ars technica, seti.macnn.com now points to a seti proxy.
The team is free to use this until I get a new one working at a new location.

Don't forget that the first time you connect it will time out.
All users will be able to connect with all clients and OSes, as the bug doesn't affect this proxy.
