Malson, we need the power.
Deploy man, deploy.
You know what I'm talking about.

No pressure or anything though.

Trust me, we are working on it. An ill-times rainstorm flooded a main lab so all of my friend's time was spent rescuing machines rather than reinstalling systems. But, the labs are open 24 hours now so I should be able to go in a do a number of machines each day. We'll see if we can crank it
Yeah, about those TPS reports, didn't you get the memo?

Woohoo.
You going to be able to setup a proxy for them too?

The proxy is on my list of things to do either tonight or tomorrow. Should not be a problem at all...

What's so good about a proxy here?

I'm new here. What's Malson got to counteract those Athalons?

BTW, I joined RC5 team today. I'll have a AMD Thunderbird 800 continually crunching (all it's good for) and my G4 400 working about half of the time.

Oh goody.
You have a config file for it already, or do I still need to make one for you?
I can't wait to see you beating my a$$

The reason for the proxy is that my proxy server can't handle a huge load, so we distribute over a number of proxies, all of which go to mine.

I think I know what I'm doing but go ahead and send me your config file. Just want to double check that I'm not an idiot or something.

http://jaffacpas.dyndns.org/misc/proxyper.ini should work for you.
What OS the proxy on?
The big thing is to make sure it dumps to mine, and that it doesn't buffer too much.

News is not good. My friend who works in the various labs on campus got promoted to be info services director at UT Knoxville. Big promotion for him, but I lost access to most of the machines (and approval to run RC5) when he left last week. I'm talking to our new guy but he is just a temp until the christmas break. So, in other words, I've struck out big time. Only chance is that my guy can install in the much larger labs in knoxville. But, he's going to need some time to settle in and get things running the way that they should be. Sorry guys...
