8 Case fans? Why would you ever need eight? Just liquid cool it and add a 156W peltier - would become so cool you only need 2 fans to circulate the cold air.

Thry (LOL) this with your PC:

G4 case, translucent side panels, 2 side windows, 1 top window, blow hole in the bottom w/ 120mm FAN, UV light, blue cold cathode light, overclocked Dual 1GHz, water cooled with 156W Peltier, 2GB RAM, GF4 (water cooled), 4 120GB HDs.
When birds fly in the right formation, they need only exert half the effort. Even in nature, teamwork results in collective laziness.

Asuming you're not bsing us, where did you get a block for the cpu for watercooling. I've been shopping around and have'nt had any luck. If you made it yourself, tell us how, eh?

Hopefully, if it's not too terribly difficult, I'd give watercooling a thry, too.

My computer doesn't have a mouse. It responds directly to brain waves! LOL!

Silent fans? How quiet do the 8 fans run?

It's just a joke. I was mocking his "I own a PC that I threw 100s of dollars worth of useless junk (ie the 8 fans) into so I'm going to go brag about it in a Mac forum!" He apparently has trouble reading because the forum name is Mac Modification - not PC Case Mods. LOL!

I am currently trying to get one to work, though.

I'll start a new thread for it...

Yeah... PC trolls come on our Mac boards and try to rile stuff up. I think PCs are ridicilous with how fast they run and how little gain they get. 2.4 Ghz > 1 ghz mac... Not hardly. A 2.4 Ghz PC doesn't run noticeably faster than a 1.8, or even a 1.5 for that matter.

PC cases mods? Oh, you mean those stupid SOUND activated lights and the clear cases with little flips and holes for ports everywhere? No thanks, I'll take a Mac.

Pssh.

Wow that is the gayest sh1t I have ever heard.

You sound like a 16-year-old riceboy bragging about the double-wing he put on his Civic.

Try this on you're PC.... Run your mail program, your browser, your AIM client, you're MP3 player, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Golive, and Adobe Illustrator, and use all at once, and not crash. Not only do I not crash, but my dual 533 prospers under such conditions. Oh I forgot about running 4 web sites off my web server, all with various CGIs etc, some getting a good amount of hits as well. No you can't do that, all the anti-freeze in the world flowing through your shïtty PC's veins isn't goona make it any less of a piece of shït. But if you really wanna see something interesting, I suggest you look here.

Hey as far as blow holes and black lights and little things like that go I don't have any complaints. Have you seen that G4 mod that guy did (blue ice g4 or something like that). I don't care if it doesn't do anything for performance and all that... it looks pretty nifty. I think your priorities are a bit out of line if you spend 2000 dollars on a computer because you want it to glow (instead of function)... but then again get this: there are pc users who buy alien-ware systems that cost 3000 so they can play games on them... thats right all their touted powe is for games
amazing
ipod why have you forsaken me?!?!?!
