I would like to overclock my 400 to 450.

Does anyone know where to get thoes little 1 ohm resistors???
I can overclock it to 500 by swaping some but I dont think it will be stable or even work. Has anyone overclocked a 400 to 500?

Thanks.

ive done 2 of them up to 500, i wouldnt bother with 450,

I didn't see a difference from 400 to 450 and it was a pain to do.

Going to 500 was much quicker, I didn't use resistors just a "dab" of solder

these have been runnign for around 3 years now, all is well

take a look at xlr8yourmac.com
they should have some faq's or a section where they show pics detailing the resistors for a sawtooth.

Below is a site that details the steps to overclock Macs (left side is German, right side is English). It's fairly straightforward; personally, I can't stand xlr8yourmac's high clutter.

That was the easiest upgrade I have ever done. I just riped out the little tiny right most resistor with some tweezers and that its. Now its runninig at 500 mhz.

Just ripped the little bastard out. No soldering iron or anything.... He he he.
I unfortunatley spent 8 bucks on the defroster repair tool in case I had to go down to 450....

Thanks.
