Someone has to do this, because I don't have the time right now.

Get a G4 cube case, gut out all the internals, and put in a toaster mechanism. I was thinking, the toast is probably too thick to have it pop up out of the CD slot, so you'd have to take out the grating over the vent and have the toast come out there.

Comon, isn't this the coolest idea ever? You know, on the cube the CD's pop up like toast? But to actually have toast pop up like that? It would be so awesome! Even the power cable for the toaster mechanism would come out the bottom just like a cable from the computer!

Is anyone out there willing to try to make this baby?

I still have a Cube, but it's currently a server. But it's really not put to use any more. I migght as well strip the internal guts of it and, well, any other suggestions?

(If it's good, I'll take the time to do it and post up pictures of it)

Send me the guts and I'll throw them in a mundane kitchen appliance.

LOL, or maybe I should run an X10 interface on my PowerMac and control when the Cube turns on / off.
