First question is how easy is it? Can you do it with jumper or do you have to solder...
Now more importantly, how much of a stable jump has anyone gotten from their over-clock? What can I expect from a 300, 350, 400MHz?

Well, on a rev 2 B&W mobo, it's REAL easy.....

remove the OEM jumper block, install the new jumpers into the appropriate positions, and fire it up !! Should take a grand total of about oh...10 seconds

I got my 350 Lonestar v2.1 up to 450, tried 500 but it would not boot....still though, a FREE 100mhz gave a nice, noticable boost to OS 9 & 10.....

I only changed the bus multiplier in this mod, I never attempted to change the PCI speed nor the core voltage....could be bigger boosts available that way, I dont know. You may wanna ask a guy named Tyco, over at the xlr8yourmac.com forums, and check the how to's while you're there, they are complete with jumper diagrams and user reports...

From what I've read, Tycho seems to the resident "mad (mac) scientist" when it comes to mobo mods, he has sucessfully done some pretty radical stuff......
