I want to put a 1024x768 LCD into a clamshell 466Mhz laptop.
Mind you I sold my Key Lime SE but I still want to do it....
I've checked the video specs for the 466 SE and it should support 1024x768 no problem.
I really like my iBook 500, its small and light but the clamshell had more style and made a statement, plus I really liked using it.
Oh well maybe someday...

According to people on the Applefritter.com forums, it can't be done (at least not with OS X). Apparently someone tried it, and while you can use a transplanted screen in OS 9, OS X won't recognize it properly for some reason (it expects the stock screen to be there and doesn't behave when it doesn't find it). It's also not an easy mod to do, apparently.
