Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove the large blue Apple logos on the sides of a digital audio G4 tower. Upon 'close' inspection, I cannot determine how they are attached, though I guess some sort of adhesive was used. Any ideas on how to remove them (without cutting through the back side of the panel of course)? Thanks.

if its the same as the older g4 and g3 towers just pry them out with a pocket knife, thats how me and my friend did it, the plastic is strong, and the glue or whatever that holds them is sticky as hell, he still has the blue apple leaf part stuck on the outside of his car window, and its never come off, that was at least 2 years ago

Done! Thanks a lot smic. It worked like a charm. I found you could also startlifting it out by poking through the hole in the back. It's easy enough for the leaf, but the apple definitely needs a knife. Peace!

Well, when I did it all the glue was on the back of the apple and leaf. They used some sort of adhesive foam I guess. It sure is sticky stuff. I think the iBooks may have the glue on the sides, since their logos are supposed to be translucent, and nobody wants to see through to a glob of goo. I am not sure, though.
