Has anyone here had experience with third party cooling kits for video cards? I'm thinking of using this Thermaltake kit on my GeForce 4 Ti in my MDD.

I'm thinking it might be slightly quieter and more reliable in hotter conditions.

I also thought I might use a few of these CoolerMaster heat sinks here and there.

Personally I like water cooling. Get a nice set of GPU, northbridge, and CPU waterblocks and clock the crap out of your machine. Go ahead. Try it.

By the by, is there any sort of driver overclocking in the Mac nVidia drivers? I'm very curious.

That does sound cool (pun intended,) but I'm not quite ready to go there yet. You go first.

Good question. I wouldn't mind trying some conservative OC with this card.

Oh, you're ready. I'll MAKE you ready.

All you need is a CPU, northbridge, and GPU waterblock...go ahead, it won't hurt you (much). Besides, you'll have the 1337est rig in town!
