am making a cheap os x mac for a mate from a g3/266 i got from work, as am not looking to spend to much cash got myself a generic firewire/usb pci card for £17 on ebay only trouble is no software, while it looks ok to install these in os 9, would really like to install it in os x.

The mac can see the card but not its functions (just identifies it as a pci bridge card) but its charging my ipod so power is definetlly going through it.

Anybody any ideas wot i can do, have got in touch with the guy who sold me the card so will see what he says and if the worse comes to the worse i will just give my mate a cheap os 9 mac instead, but any ideas where to go for drivers would be welcome
