I'm replacing the stock GeForce4 MX in my dual 1Ghz with a secondhand GeForceTi. There don't seem to be any drivers to download from the NVIDIA web site. Does OSX (10.2.8) have everything I need for this card, or is there some software I will have to download/install.

Thanks.

10.2.8 should have all the necessary drivers.

The GF3 Ti doesn't work in Macs. Only the original OEM GF3 (or a flashed PC GF3) works. The Mac GF4 Ti uses the same chipset as the PC GF4 Ti 4600. Both are excellent cards. I have an OEM GF4 Ti in my G4 Tower and an OEM GF3 in my G4 Cube ........joe

You can't use PC Geforce cards, unless you flash them with Mac firmware. Look on eBay for used OEM Apple GF4 cards....

I've looked for mac geforce4's and they are way too expensive for me. I saw a PC one for 60 bucks, and I would be interested in flashing it, but I have no idea how to do it. Could you help me out?
