Hi,

I just attempted to replace the RAM in the lower slot of Pismo. Everything seemed to go okay when I was inside it, but now the computer will not start. It sure seems to me that the processor module got seated on the logic board. I know it felt like it slipped back in, and it offers me nothing but resistance when pushing down on the module now. Any ideas...short of taking it in?

TIA,

Robert

Please disregard my previous post. I let it sit a few minutes, went back to it and it booted fine.

If you do have any more booting issues, remove the top RAM chip so you can press down VERY firmly on that spot where the plug engages the socket below securely. It's 98% of the problems for Pismos after having removed the processor card.
