I recently purchased a G3 Wallstreet powerbook, and plan to be modding the hell out of it, like the 1400 before it.

I've replaced the stock 2GB drive with a 20GB drive, installed Panther on it... man that was a trick. I had to pull the drive out and put it in a B&W G3... but it was worth it. I'm going to upgrade the CPU, max out the RAM, and replace the screen, as well.

It currently has a the 12.1" dual-scan screen, but I want to replace that with a 14.1" Active matrix. I can get the display easy on ebay, but before I do that, I was wondering if anyone knows if I can upgrade the VRAM from the stock 2MB to the 4MB that the models that origionally had the 14.1" screens had. The chipset is the same, but it just needs the RAM.

Any info is appreciated, thanks!
