I am interested in connecting an external serial ata drive to my G5. The only Serial ata cards for the Mac only have internal signal cable connectors.

Has anyone found a USA source for the following cables?

Well, the Highpoint B22 that I found will not work. They use a unique connector that is not standard Serial ata.

I'm still looking. The Comax pictured above will work, but I can not find a US source.

Where are you going to find a power adapter for your external drives? SATA uses those wierd power connectors, at least for the 10k RPM Western Digital Drive I have.

The enclosure is less than $60, and I got a 160gb sata drive for $100 after rebate.
