I just bought a (used) iMac 17" flat panel, and I understand that this model had the option of a factory-installed internal bluetooth module. This unit does not have the bluetooth in it, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to add the part internally?

I'm fairly comfortable with screwdrivers and soldering, but on the other hand if it's a special unobtainable part or something, maybe it's best to just get the external bluetooth adaptor?

Thanks!

I'd just go with an external adapter. They're not very obtrusive at all, about the size of a thumb from what I have seen.
