i found the old stickers at work while i was fixing a powerbook, so i decided to see what it would look like if i put the sticker behind the apple window. i like it. i have a bunch of these old stickers so i may do my wife's ibook and a few other coworker's powerbooks.

I dig it!

Maybe I'll have to do mine. Are there directions for taking the back cover of the screen off?

Nice to see this.
I myself already thought about putting one of my stickers behind the apple (I have the same machine).
Does not look too bad :o)

Nah! Looks cheap and unsophisticated. Less is more in this case. I like the white apple against the gray backdrop. Very cool.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the colour of the apple on the back of the screen using the same method that is popular for the iBook? Are there any instructions/photographs anywhere?

[EDIT - See, I did use the Search function, but came up empty. Then I just looked a little further down the Modification forum main page and there is was. So there be no need to point out my foolishness.]

You could always use colored cellophane in the color of your choice.
