I was wondering if anyone would happen to know if this item would be able to run OSX? Maybe boot off an ipod?

If Darwin were ported, or if it could run MOL, then yes. I don't know the exact requirements of MOL, but I think I recall that it would run on any PPC (I could be way off).

Could ya run FreeBSD on it or some other brand of BSD? Then you could run Darwin on it for sure couldn't you?
