i would like to get an old blue and white g3 to play with as a progect computer. any body know what is the best video card i can get for it and where can i find the card. also does anybody have a sonnet encore/zif g4 1.0 ghz card in there g3... how well does it work?

Best video card you can get is the 128MB Radeon 9200 PCI.

Best CPU upgrade you can get is not the Sonnet 1GHz. It is the PowerLogix 1.1GHz/1MB G3 750GX.

The Sonnet drops the bus speed on B&Ws to 66MHz, which has a pretty detrimental effect on system performance.
