The new ROM update fixed a problem with my flashed 8500 PC Radeon card! The Mac used to detect 2 displays when only one was connected to the VGA port. It always thought that there was a display attached to the DVI port even when there was nothing attached. My video ram was always split between the two displays- 32MB each. That had a huge impact on my framerates.

The new ram updates has fixed the problem by offering a preference to "Force single Display Operation" Now my $50 cheapo 8500LE is as good as a $100-$150 retail Mac card!

For anybody with a crappy Rage 128 or Nvidia 2MX this is a great CHEAP upgrade!
