Hi,
I've got a Geforce3 TI 500 that has seen better days. There are two large capacitors (electrolytic) at the end of the PCB that have broken off. (They were gone when I got the card.) Can anyone with one of these cards get me their values? (Or markings, if the value isn't obvious.)

The card seems to work without them, however, I would suspect to see some side effects if I put it through it's paces.

Thanks!

The two components in question are C800 and C835.

Thanks

I have a dead GF3 Ti500 from Visiontek you are welcome to have. If you live in LA, come on by.

Those capacitors are labeled "150 SVP 82 16".

Are you going to flash it to Mac?

I'm not in the area. I live in Minnesota!! (But thanks for the offer) It is (was) a GF3 TI 500 that I modified (per your wonderful instructions) to a regular GF3 and was able to flash it successfully. I stuck a pair of 100uF caps at those two locations. It is probably overkill, but I do think the card is working better.

Soldering is fun!

Then PLEASE post in the Gf3 Titanium thread. The only other person to try so far has failed to get it working. Right now it looks like I am FULL OF CRAP. As I am rather proud of my little discovery, I would LOVE people to hear it actually works.

Would encourage others to try.

It's a great card at a great price.

Now lets get some more Nvidia cards going!!!
