If this is in the wrong place, let me know and/or mods, please move to the appropriate forum.

I've got a PC with no video card, so I was going to take the 16MB Rage128 from my Sawtooth and flash it with a PC ROM for use in the PC...the only problem is, I don't know where to get a Rage128 flasher (DOS, OS X, otherwise) or a Rage128 ROM. Any suggestions?

I could be wrong, but I believe the Rage128 models were not flashable. It used a ROM specific to the Mac and wouldn't work with PCs.

It wasn't until the Radeon sets that the cards became nearly interchangable.

Try looking at:

for any help.

Since its only a Rage128, you could probably buy a PC card which is notably better for very little cash indeed. Save yourself the bother.

Yeah, you can pick up a card for $40-$50 dollars. Save the hassle, and a ruin video card.

Picked up a GF2MX on eBay for $25 after shipping. It's just an office productivity style machine that has a TV tuner card in it so that'll be more than I need.
