Why would you think of this tip as being wrong, yes you may personally feel it is wrong, but you mus think. Pepsi will sell the soda either way, Pepsi also bought all of the 100 million downloded songs from Apple already, so, Pepsi is out the 100 million dollars, we know this, Apple is doing nothing more than riding on the publicity wave this generates, and as he said, much fewer than 100 mil was ever recovered from the givaway.

How is this wrong to not want to waste your money? Would you want to give yourself a better chance at russian roulette by looking at the chambers of a "six-gun" or would you just "take-it-like-a-man" so to speak.

This is a classic hack, and this guy had all the rights in the world to share, you dont have to lock a thread just because you personally dont believe what he is doing is right, you have the right to, just like you have the right to do it to this thread, but please, dont lock it just because "i dont have to even tell you how wrong this is" its just advice, like telling somebody how to shoot a gun. you didnt tell them to shoot people, but they have the choice to use the information how they choose... sorry if i hurt alot of feelings, i just dont feel it was right to just lock a thread on something that wasnt locked before.

Stealing is wrong morally and legally. You are taking something without paying for it. What happens when the person who actually buys the Pepsi product tries to redeem the free iTunes song that they actually paid for? Waste your money? Have you ever even had a job. People like you make me sick. You have no idea how many people your "stealing" actually hurts.

You are an idiot jackass...I mean jabackes.

Just to clarify for discotronic, there's absolutely no way to just look at the code without buying the product. What people ARE able to do is see whether the bottle is a winner or not before they buy it. I'm not taking any stance here, I'm just clarifying what is possible and what's not.

I have to point out that the people who get 'hurt' the most would be Pepsi, and since they must be aware that people did this last time, it can't have been that much of a problem or they would have changed something before doing it again.
