I'm sure many of you have seen the color mods over at colorwarepc. If not, here's a quick link: ColorwarePC Blue iMac G5

I'd like to paint my wireless mouse. Seems like a simple enough mod. Problem is, I can't figure out an easy way to open the mouse. Does anyone know how to disassemble this thing?

Thanks,

-rufinatti

My guess would to pry between the side "buttons" and the top shell. I'm guessing this since if you look closely when you click the mouse, the entire outer shell moves but the side 'buttons' don't. The side 'buttons' are connected to the bottom part of the mouse. I think if you find out how to pry off that white outer ring on the bottom that goes around each 'button', it looks like you could then just pull the top outer shell off, and then paint it.

This site might be helpful. It's for the usb apple mice, but looks like you could dissassemble a wireless one with a similar method.
